Vancouver Boat Charters

Picture yourself on a boat, next to majestic mountains over calm, tranquil waters when suddenly, a line sings, and a reel screams and the deck erupts with shouting. You grasp the rod and your eyes go wide, as adrenaline pumps through your veins. You’ve never encountered anything like this before. You muscle the beast to the boat. You hold it in your arms like living gold, pictures are snapped, and your mind, like the line, is still reeling.

Nothing compares to catching a Coho: The greatest fighter of all salmon. It’s a life-changing experience, a rite of passage, and a tale you will tell to your grandchildren. And when fishing in Vancouver, there are bigger prizes too. Our Vancouver fishing charters angle for all five wild Pacific salmon, including Chinooks reaching 30 lb and the occasional 50 lb slab! No matter what your skill level, we can provide a challenge, or an introduction to the exciting sport of Vancouver salmon fishing. If the season is right, we’ll also drop a couple crab traps to diversify your haul for the day. It’s an unforgettable outing for kids from nine to ninety.

Our guides are knowledgeable of the area, handy with a point-and-shoot, and always ready to accommodate your specific requirements, from type of lure, to choice of brew. Simply bring your tidal-water angling license , food and refreshments, and we’ll take of the rest. We recommend a minimum of 3 licenses be available before hitting the water (the skipper will ask for printed copies before departure). If you don’t have a license, you can purchase and print a license via https://www-ops2.pac.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/nrls-sndpp/index-eng.cfm, for about $6 per license. Please note that while our Vancouver fishing trips are usually catch and release, stamps will be required for any fish you would like to keep. We can also arrange cleaning and bagging of your catch for transport upon request.
