Golden Eagle Charters prides itself on providing outstanding service to all our charter patrons and we are always looking for skilled, friendly and outgoing Skippers and Deckhands.

Skipper Description

Skipper acts in dual capacity as both Master and Engineer.  In addition to having a great personality for treating customers to an amazing afternoon or evening on the water, the skipper must also have the following

• Extensive knowledge of local waters

• Valid 60T Masters Limited

• Valid MED A1/A2, or Transport Canada recognized equivalent

• Valid Marine Basic First Aid

• Valid medical

• Valid Radio Operators Certificate

• Valid Small Vessel Machinery Operator

Deckhand Description

Deckhands are required to currently hold :

• Valid MED A1/A2, or Transport Canada recognized equivalent

• Valid Marine Basic First Aid

• Valid Medical

We ask those that apply to please provide a list of local boats that you have worked on.  In addition, fishing experience is also of interest...where to go and what to talk about.

Most of the work is short notice.  Most cruises 3-5 hour in length.  Best suited to individuals looking for part time work occasionally in the evenings and weekends.
